About this venue
Downcast Studios has run on Park Lane in Gateshead since 2008, a short walk from the Gateshead Interchange. Alongside rehearsal rooms with full backline, a recording studio and a live room, PA and lighting hire and drum tuition, it operates a bar and diner and a live music venue.
The venue room holds around 100 for gigs, parties and other events, with a stage, an open floor and a bar serving craft beer, spirits, wine and light food.
