About this venue

Volvo CE Arena (formerly Stiga Sports Arena) opened in 2017 in the Munktellstaden district of Eskilstuna and is the home arena of handball club Eskilstuna Guif. The main A hall seats about 3,700 for matches and about 4,000 for concerts, and can host trade fairs for about 2,000 visitors; it can be split into two training halves. B hall seats 500 for basketball and parasport, and C hall is a school gymnasium that can be divided with a curtain wall. All three halls together can take trade fairs of up to 3,100 visitors. The arena is rented as an empty space under a written agreement, so stage, chairs and similar items must be hired separately. It has four kiosks, a gathering room with a pantry, a jumbotron and a fast network for organisers. It has hosted Melodifestivalen heats. Access features include a lift, ramp, automatic doors, an accessible toilet and welcome for assistance dogs.
