The Estadio Santiago Bernabéu is Real Madrid's stadium, on the Paseo de la Castellana in the Chamartín district of Madrid, about five kilometres north of the city centre. It has been the club's home since 1947 and was comprehensively rebuilt between 2019 and 2024, gaining a retractable roof and a retractable grass system that allow the bowl to be used for events without damaging the pitch. Wikipedia gives its capacity as 83,186.
Alongside football it stages major touring concerts and has hosted significant political and religious gatherings.
