About this venue

The Focke-Museum is the Bremen state museum for art and cultural history, laid out as a museum in a 4.5-hectare park on Schwachhauser Heerstraße. It lets rooms for conferences, company parties, seminars, concerts and birthdays: the 16th-century Haus Mittelsbueren farmhouse (about 100 seated or 60 at banquet tables), a seminar room in the 18th-century Haus Riensberg, and, when available, a panelled lecture hall of 140 square metres with good acoustics (about 120 in rows) and a seminar room of 70 square metres. In the park there is a covered stage for music and presentations, and the park hosts the Fockes Pavillon concert series and Fockes Fest from spring to autumn. Because of the rebuilding of the museum and its permanent exhibition, which is planned to run until 2029, not all rooms are available: the lecture hall, the 70 square metre seminar room and the park are currently not let. Guided tours of the exhibitions are included in event prices.
