The room holds about 150 — roughly 100 seated with another 50 standing — which lets it put big-stage acts in front of a close-up audience. Live music runs in the function room from 9.30pm, with bands drawn from the Liverpool live circuit and occasional pay-on-the-door tribute nights. CAMRA records the bar as open, with live music, events, a function room and sports TV, and notes that cask ale is not available.
