About this venue
Franklin's Gardens, on Weedon Road in the St James area about a mile from Northampton town centre, has been home to Northampton Saints since the late 1880s. It seats up to 15,153 across the DPD, South, Church's and Barwell stands, and it has also been marketed as cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens. Outside matchdays the ground runs a year-round conference and events business with 12 dedicated event spaces, more than 40 pitchside meeting rooms and over 1,500 parking spaces.
The largest room is the ground-floor Rodber Bar, which holds 600 theatre-style, 400 for dinner or 800 for a reception and has pitch access for photos. Mid-sized rooms include the Michael Jones Jeweller Champions Suite (up to 250), the Members Bar (up to 180), the Heroes Restaurant (up to 120) and the Captains Bar (up to 150). Smaller options are the Directors Lounge with two boardrooms, the 1880 Suite, the Carlsberg Lounge and executive boxes overlooking the pitch. Several spaces have glazed frontages onto the pitch, and all have AV, complimentary Wi-Fi and in-house catering. The venue hosts conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, weddings, proms, Christmas parties and large events and stadium takeovers. Northampton station is about a 10-minute walk away, and the stadium has wheelchair viewing areas and accessible toilets.
