About this venue
The open-air stage in the Höhenpark Killesberg, one of Stuttgart's oldest parks, was completed with the park for the Reichsgartenschau of 1939 and is a listed monument. During the 1993 International Garden Exhibition (IGA) it was a central venue for six months, with a programme from classical to pop, folk music and theatre. After years of disuse it has been a regular Stuttgart venue again since early summer 2000, drawing music fans to the park between June and September.
Sparda-Bank supported its operation and gave it its name from 2013 to 2023; since 2024 the family company BÜRGER has been naming partner. The site is run by in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft. The 2027 open-air season includes Alexander Marcus and Matthias Reim (11 September 2027).
The seating area is ringed by benches, so the inner area is reachable only by steps; marked places for wheelchair users are above Block C and must be requested when booking. Accessible parking is on nearby public streets, and the nearest stops are Killesberg (U-Bahn and bus) and Oskar-Schlemmer-Straße, with steep paths through the park.
