About this venue
Gleis 1 occupies the former baggage-handling area of Kassel's KulturBahnhof station and combines a restaurant, café, bar, concert venue and club under one roof. During the day it serves lunch and coffee; in the evenings it hosts live concerts, DJs and cultural events, with club events billed as "Club Gleis 1". In summer a large beer garden opens outside. It is one of the KulturBahnhof's most popular meeting places, alongside tenants such as the Caricatura gallery.
