Göteborgs Konserthus

Göteborgs Konserthus stands on Götaplatsen at the top of Kungsportsavenyen and is the home of the Göteborgs Symfoniker. Its main auditorium, Stora salen, seats 1,200 in cinema-style seating and is described as world famous for its acoustics. The house also has the smaller Stenhammarsalen for chamber concerts and seminars, the Viktor Rydbergssalen conference room, the flexible Garderobshallen and the Götaplats foyer, which hosts seated dinners for up to 100 and receptions. The programme is mainly classical but also includes jazz, folk-based choral music, family concerts and youth shows. The halls are available to rent for concerts, conferences and events through the hall's event team, and there is a 48-seat restaurant open during Stora salen concerts.
