About this venue

The Gustav-Heinemann-Bürgerhaus at Kirchheide 49 opened in 1977 and is a meeting place for all ages: it houses courses of the adult education centre Bremen-Nord, many local groups, a cafe, the Circus Tohuwabohu children's circus and a seniors' creative group. Culturally, its modern concert hall holds up to 600 people and is used for concerts, comedy and large parties, while the small hall, the studio stage, hosts theatre and screenings. The Kulturbüro Bremen Nord programme for November 2026 lists comedy, a true-crime show, children's theatre and concerts in the house, and tickets are sold in advance at the house cafe. The house is open Monday to Thursday and on Saturday morning. A second record for the same building, Bürgerhaus Vegesack, was unpublished as a duplicate.
