About this venue

The Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) grew out of the Stadthalle, built in 1911–14 to a design by Paul Bonatz. It was badly damaged in the Second World War and rebuilt in slightly altered form. The complex now has 41 halls and meeting rooms with about 13,000 m² of event space. Its centrepiece is the domed Kuppelsaal. With about 3,600 seats it is still Germany's largest classical concert hall, even after the Elbphilharmonie opened. The largest hall is the Eilenriedehalle, for up to 7,500 visitors. The HCC hosts concerts, congresses, galas and corporate events.
