About this venue
Hedworth Hall, also known as the Hedworth Assembly Rooms, is a family-run function venue on Dean Road in the historic Westoe village area of South Shields. The building dates from 1919 and retains many of its original features after an extensive renovation.
It has two of the largest function rooms in South Shields - the Ballroom and the Temple Room - and is used for weddings, engagement and birthday parties, charity nights, corporate events and Christmas parties. Bar service, catering and DJs can be arranged, and the venue is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies. Free off-road parking is available.
