About this venue
hilda5 is the project space of the kulturaggregat e.V., a non-profit collective that since 2016 has used an old Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) house at Hildastraße 5 in the Wiehre district as platform, art space and laboratory. Its roughly 500 m² hold a spacious gallery, a small stage and the kulturaggregat Kinoklub, which claims to be the smallest cinema in the city.
The programme combines urban and contemporary art exhibitions, such as the Tape Art Convention running until the end of 2026, with concerts, a monthly Snack'n-Jam session, readings and members' film nights on almost every Monday. The space is open on Monday and Thursday evenings and on Friday and Saturday afternoons, and artists can send requests through the collective's website. Capacity is not published.
