A record store in Cains Brewery Village with a 400-capacity basement performance space, known for album-launch shows by major touring acts.
Jacaranda Baltic is a record store and live venue in Cains Brewery Village, in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. It is the Baltic sibling of The Jacaranda on Slater Street, run by the same operator, and it pairs a curated vinyl shop on the ground floor with a 400-capacity performance space in the basement.
The basement is best known for intimate album-launch and in-store shows by acts far larger than the room: the operator names Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, The Libertines, Jess Glynne and Blossoms among those who have played it, alongside Declan McKenna and Dizzee Rascal. It also gives emerging Liverpool artists a step up to a larger stage.
The record store is open Thursday to Saturday from midday to 6pm and Sunday from midday to 5pm, and closed Monday to Wednesday; gigs run outside those hours. No room-hire rate is published.
