Established in 1997, Jack of the Wood was one of downtown Asheville’s first pubs and the original home of Green Man Brewing. It serves a great selection of whiskeys, 18 rotating taps featuring local & international craft brews, and an award-winning menu of comfort food favorites & elevated pub fare. Known for its live music showcases, we host a long-running Old-Time Jam Wednesday evenings & Bluegrass Jam Thursday nights, touring bands Friday & Saturday nights, Bluegrass Brunch Saturdays & Sundays, and traditional Irish sessions Sunday afternoons & evenings.
