The John Charles Centre for Sport is Leeds City Council's flagship sports complex in Middleton, operated by Active Leeds. The site combines a 50m competition pool with diving boards and platforms, an outdoor athletics stadium, an indoor athletics hall with a 50m sprint track and throwing cage, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, an eight-rink indoor bowls hall, artificial pitches and a 68-station gym.
Alongside the sporting facilities the centre has the Grandstand and Parkside hospitality suites, meeting rooms and a cafe available for hire. There is level entry with automatic doors, lift access to all floors, accessible changing facilities and pool hoists.
