About this venue

The Kenton Theatre is a Georgian theatre in Henley-on-Thames that opened in November 1805 with a touring company production of "The School of Reform." Between 1813 and 1930 the building served as a chapel, school, church hall and scenery store before reopening as a theatre; it is now the fourth-oldest working theatre in the United Kingdom, hosting live shows, film and community events.
