About this venue
Kingsholm Stadium has been the home of Gloucester Rugby since the club bought the land in 1891, and the club's first match was played on the ground in 1873. The stadium is in Kingsholm, about a 15-minute walk from Gloucester railway station and ten minutes' drive from junction 11 of the M5.
Away from matchdays, Kingsholm runs as a conference and event venue, accommodating up to 1,000 guests across more than 20 spaces. It hosts conferences, meetings, exhibitions, dinners, proms, weddings, parties, celebrations of life and festive parties, with food from its in-house kitchen. The Emerge Digital Captain's Lounge on the third floor takes up to 400 guests depending on layout, with a big screen and views over the pitch. The Chairman's Club takes 60, or 40 for private dining. The 1873 Bistro and Lounge seats 50, and there are three premium boxes for 16 and executive boxes for 8. The Lion's Den, the club's oldest building and once its changing room and gym, is a matchday bar that can be hired for celebrations. The Blindside, a boutique event space in the Malvern Tyres Stand, opened in September 2026. Pitch hire is also offered for corporate away days.
