Jazzclub Kiste

The Kiste is a small live-music bar on Hauptstätter Straße in central Stuttgart, run by the Jazzclub Kiste e.V. Concerts have been held here regularly since 1988, and the club now programmes live music six days a week. The focus is jazz — from established players of the Stuttgart scene to newcomers, including regular house-band nights and series presented by IG Jazz Stuttgart — but the stage is also open to other styles, from classical through pop and rock to punk. Stuttgart's tourism office describes it as the city's oldest jazz bar.
