About this venue
The Kolpinghaus on Adolph-Kolping-Straße in Regensburg's old town houses the Kongress- und Kulturzentrum, run by the Kolpinghaus-Gaststätten-Betriebs GmbH, which has hosted conferences, congresses, cultural and corporate events for more than three decades. The house is barrier-free, has its own restaurant, St. Erhard, whose kitchen caters events from snacks to multi-course menus, and each booking supports an attached residential project for disadvantaged young people.
The main room is the Festsaal on the second floor: 370 square metres with a 100 square metre stage, a 72 square metre gallery and 274 square metres of foyers, taking up to 500 in theatre seating or 632 at banquet. The Kolpingsaal on the first floor (189 square metres) takes up to 240 in theatre seating, and the Altstadtblick rooms on the fifth floor, the Erhardizimmer, Kolpingzimmer, Burschenzimmer and Domblick serve smaller meetings. Sound, lighting and streaming technology are available. The house's own programme includes crime and comedy dinner shows, talks and travesty shows.
