About this venue
Konstkollektivet is a non-profit association that has run a culture house since 2014 in the former Grevedämmet school in Mölndal's Kvarnby; it moved back there in 2024 after four years at Baazgatan in Åby. The house hires out a dance studio, gallery, black box and a stage and event hall in a separate building, for cultural productions, public events and association meetings, and offers the event hall for private and company parties. The event hall takes up to 75 people (about 60 with tables and chairs) and has a small stage, kitchen, sound and light equipment and blackout curtains. The association also runs a calendar of exhibitions, workshops, courses and talks, and a photo-art park in the garden. The house is open by arrangement and at events.
