About this venue

Kulturhuset i Namsos stands at Stasjonsgata 3 in the centre of Namsos and is run by Namsos municipality. Under one roof it holds a concert hall, Kunstmuseet Nord-Trøndelag, Riangalleriet, the town library and the municipal innbyggertorg. It is a regular stop on Riksteatret's touring circuit and takes concerts, theatre and lectures through the year. The house is one half of Kulturarena Namsos, the municipality's umbrella for its cultural venues. The other half sits at Sverresgate 35 — the building formerly known as Rock City — where Namsos kino, the Trønderrock museum and the NTE Arena concert hall are; that hall is listed separately in this directory. Tickets for both are sold through eBillett, with a box office at the cinema. Rooms and event spaces are booked through the municipality's online booking form or booking@namsos.kommune.no. The concert hall has designated wheelchair spaces. No seating capacity is published for the hall itself.
