About this venue

Kulturhuset Möllan, listed by Folkets Hus och Parker as Mölndals Folkets Hus, is a community house at Stadshusplanen in central Mölndal, about 10 km from central Gothenburg. It hires out five rooms: Festsalen, the largest, for dancing, weddings, parties and larger meetings (a stage, three bars, a preparation kitchen and a disco ball; up to 350 people), Bio Möllan, a cinema and theatre salon for films, theatre, opera, lectures and conferences (up to 236), and the meeting rooms Annexet (80), Kvarnen (70) and Kvarnkammaren (25). The house also runs a cinema, dance evenings and a local revue, and its event page lists weekly seated gymnastics, dancing and bingo plus an exhibition on free abortion in the foyer.
