Kulturkabinett (KKT)

The Kulturkabinett (KKT), run by Kulturkabinett e.V., has been part of Stuttgart's cultural scene since 1972, growing from a small initiative into a socio-cultural centre with a participatory, cross-disciplinary programme on Kissinger Straße in Bad Cannstatt. Visitors can attend around 90 events a year, including classic and experimental theatre, performances, readings, exhibitions and (jazz) music. Working as an open space, the KKT runs projects, productions and cooperations, theatre-education work at all-day schools and neighbourhood projects, and artists can bring their own formats into the programme or use its rooms to develop projects. Drinks are sold at the in-house bar.
