About this venue
Leeds Town Hall opened in 1858 to Cuthbert Brodrick's design and its Victoria Hall has been the city's principal concert room ever since, taking classical seasons, live music, comedy, film screenings and civic events. It is run by Leeds City Council alongside Millennium Square and the Carriageworks Theatre.
The building is currently closed to the public for a 19.8 million pound refurbishment covering the restoration of the Victoria Hall decorative scheme and its pipe organ, stonework and plasterwork repairs, and new bars, toilets, a cafe bar, reception and box office on the ground floor with a new customer lift. Completion was originally set for spring 2026 and is now projected for 2027. Tickets for council venues are sold through Leeds Ticket Hub.
