Kongsberg's music and culture house, in a brick mill from 1890 and open since 2002, running around 130 events a year across rock, pop, metal, hip hop, jazz and theatre for some 16,000 visitors.
Kongsberg kirke
Norway's largest Baroque church, consecrated in 1761 on Kirketorget in Kongsberg, seating 2,400. Its Gloger organ from 1765 is the largest Baroque organ in the Nordic countries, and the church is the home of the Gloger Festival and the Gloger Academy's concert programme.
Kongsberg Musikkteater
Kongsberg's modern cultural arena inside the Krona knowledge and culture centre, run by the municipality. Musikkteateret takes 604 in the amphitheatre, 1,200 standing on a flat floor plus 150 on the balcony, and Sølvsalen is a 135-seat black box; both are fitted with current sound, light and AV, with a Steinway D and a Yamaha S6.
