Lolita Bar

The Lolita Bar has been at Werner-Hilpert-Straße 22, directly below the KulturBahnhof and less than five minutes' walk from the city centre, since 1993, and is a fixture of Kassel's subculture scene. In the bar, DJs play indie rock, pop and soul on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with occasional 80s and other extravagant nights. On Fridays and Saturdays the ballroom hosts DJs from the electronic field; it is also used for art, theatre and concerts, and currently for bingo and karaoke evenings on Tuesdays. The bar has also hosted a well-known record fair. In summer a beer garden among greenery and red brick opens from Monday to Saturday evenings.
