Lounge About is a micro bar on Palatine Road in Northenden, occupying two knocked-through shop units - "a bar of two halves", as CAMRA puts it. One side is a drinking area of tables, the other a lounge furnished with rustic railway-sleeper tables.
It keeps rotating cask ales from local breweries plus two craft lines, has three large screens for football and other sport, and a secluded beer garden at the rear. Live music appears occasionally rather than on a fixed night.
