About this venue

Malmö Arena opened on 6 November 2008 next to Malmö Hyllie Station, 80 metres from the platforms and about six minutes by train from Malmö Central. It is the home arena of the ice hockey club Malmö Redhawks and a major concert and entertainment venue: capacity is 12,600 for sporting events, 1,000 to 15,500 for music depending on stage position, 5,000 for dance events and 50 to 3,200 for dinners, with a free height of 22.5 metres, 61 sky boxes and restaurants seating 3,500. The autumn 2026 programme includes Benjamin Ingrosso, Lars Winnerbäck, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Timbuktu and Disney on Ice. Meetings and corporate events are also sold, and an attached Malmö Arena Hotel is on site. Staffed cloakrooms are offered at some events; the arena is cashless, card payments only.
