About this venue
Malmö Live Konserthus, five minutes' walk from Malmö Central Station, opened in August 2015 and is run by Malmö Live Konserthus AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Malmö. It is the home of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra and also programmes pop and rock, jazz (a weekly jazz club in Kuben on Mondays), comedy and entertainment, dance and ballet, family concerts and the Lunchkören choir. The main concert hall takes about 1,600 listeners and the smaller, flexible Kuben and the Kanalscenen host club nights, children's concerts and smaller acts. The concert house sits within the Malmö Live block, which also holds a 444-room hotel, congress hall and conference rooms operated separately by Clarion Hotel and Congress Malmö Live. Facilities include wheelchair places booked through the ticket office, loan hearing aids, lifts and a free cloakroom at concerts.
