Marula Monkey is an international restaurant and cocktail bar on Sun Street in Lancaster city centre, opened in May 2024 by Travis Dunlop, also behind the Mad Hunter restaurants, in the former home of Secret Bistro. The menu draws on international flavours built from a South African starting point, served as small plates, sharers and mains alongside handcrafted cocktails.
The venue takes private event bookings — birthdays, weddings, christenings and private dinners — from intimate gatherings up to full venue hire, with groups of eight or more asked to pre-order.
