Mercato Metropolitano's Elephant & Castle site is a 17,000 sq ft sustainable community food market in a former paper factory on Newington Causeway, with independent street-food traders, a bar, a brewery, a cinema and a garden.
The site is available for private hire in whole or in part. Hireable areas include the Piazza, the Wine Bar, the Cafe, the Garden and Hopfen, and TAM — the Temple of Art & Music — a live-music room inside the market that programmes blues, jazz, soul and funk seven days a week.
