About this venue

Moriska Paviljongen is the domed Moorish-style building drawn in 1902 by architect A. W. Krenzisky, in the middle of Malmö Folkets Park. After decades of lying dormant it reopened in 2011 and now runs a broad programme of club nights, concerts, stand-up, theatre, dance evenings, documentary screenings and jazz, both in-house and with visiting promoters; the 2026 autumn calendar includes hip hop weekends, a Latin Halloween night, comedy and a Common Ground jazz club. The house is also let for conferences, parties and company events. Stora Salongen has a flexible stage, sound, lighting and a bar and holds up to 1,000 standing, 450 cinema-style or 350 at tables; the Spegelsalen holds 400 standing and the Bistron 150 standing. A garden terrace opens in the warmer months. The operator is Re:Orient restauranger AB according to the City of Malmö page.
