About this venue
MV Balmoral is a preserved excursion ship built in 1949, owned by the charitable MV Balmoral Fund and berthed at Princes Wharf on Bristol's Floating Harbour, directly outside M Shed and opposite the SS Great Britain.
She is hired as a floating venue for parties, weddings, conferences, exhibitions and seasonal events, with four rooms across two decks, and opens to the public for open days and volunteer working days on Tuesdays and Fridays. The charity also runs educational workshops on board.
