About this venue
Ormeau Park is the oldest municipal park in Belfast, officially opened to the public in 1871. It is owned and run by Belfast City Council and is one of the largest and busiest parks in the city, with horticulture, woodland, wildlife and sporting facilities.
The council says that "Some of our parks and playing fields are hired as outdoor music venues". The park also hosts a 5km parkrun every Saturday at 9.30am and a 2km junior parkrun every Sunday at 9.30am.
