About this venue
Oscar's Inn is a two-room pub on Balderton Gate, a few minutes' walk from Newark town centre, with six handpumps serving local and national cask ales alongside craft lagers and traditional ciders. The Oscar Wilde room is open at all times; the Oscar Peterson room opens at busier times and hosts live music at the weekend, often with a jazz theme. The pub traded previously as the Horse & Jockey.
