About this venue
Parkside Studios occupy the listed "Badehaus" of the former Oehler-Werke, later the Allessa chemical works, at Friedhofstraße 59 in the east of Offenbach, beside a park not far from the Main. The industrial architecture dates from 1910 and is by the Swiss architect Hans Benno Bernoulli; the rooms were once the works' executive canteen. First used as photo and film studios, the space has opened since 2013 for selected cultural and private events.
Two studios are let for seminars, product presentations, parties, weddings, concerts, film screenings, theatre, dance events, readings, exhibitions and photo or film shoots: Studio 1 (120 m², 4.2 m high, room for about 120 people, with a lounge area and a 20 m² balcony) and Studio 2 (150 m², about 100 people, full blackout for cinema), plus a fully equipped 50 m² kitchen and parking for about 50 cars in the courtyard. The house's own programme includes Ralfs Acoustic Night on the first Wednesday of each month, the Berry Blue and band jazz series, blues and jazz sessions with Jazz e.V. Offenbach, an acoustic open stage and band concerts such as the German rock-pop group Farbenmeer (23 October 2026).
