About this venue
Pigs in the Wood is a non-profit pig sanctuary set in ten acres of woodland at Highbridge Wood, Scissett, south-east of Huddersfield, home to more than twenty rescued pigs alongside goats, chickens and turkeys.
The site hosts a public events programme on its own land, including Pig Gig - a one-day outdoor music festival running from noon to 10pm with live music, food and a bar - as well as seasonal Easter, Halloween and Christmas events. No capacity is recorded: the sanctuary publishes none.
