About this venue
The Playhouse Theatre stands on Northumberland Avenue, close to Trafalgar Square and Embankment. It seats around 790 across three levels — stalls, dress circle and upper circle — and is owned and operated by ATG Entertainment. Infra-red headphones and induction loops for hard-of-hearing patrons are available throughout the house.
Since 2021 the auditorium has been reconfigured for long runs as the Kit Kat Club, the in-the-round staging used for Cabaret; that is a production's use of this building rather than a separate venue.
