About this venue
"Ponty Park" is Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, a large public park in Pontypridd run by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, home to the Grade II listed Lido Ponty, a cafe, children's play area and open green space. For over a century it has hosted the town's major outdoor events, including Big Welsh Bite, Parti Ponty, the Teddy Bear's Picnic and large ticketed events such as an annual summer party, and has hosted the National Eisteddfod of Wales. The Council approved a scheme in 2023 to convert a former pitch-and-putt area into a dedicated events space.
