About this venue
Potterrow, also known as the Potterrow Mandela Centre, is the Edinburgh University Students' Association's student centre overlooking Bristo Square. The building was designed by Morris & Steedman and completed in 1973.
Under its dome it holds two bars, a club and event space, and the Hangar 5 and Baristo Coffee outlets. It is open seven days a week and hosts student parties, club nights, live music and other events, and was named Scotland's Best Entertainment Venue at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards.
