About this venue

The Prüfeninger Schlossgarten lies in the west of Regensburg on Prüfeninger Schloßstraße, beneath old trees and in front of the historic Schloss Prüfening. Each summer the KulturAgentur Alex Bolland stages the Schlossgarten Open Air here, a concert and cabaret series of around a dozen evenings from June to July with Bavarian cabaret and song, tribute concerts and indie pop; the park was rediscovered as an event site in 2021 and has hosted the series in a dense programme since 2024. The 2026 edition ran from 19 June to 18 July, with acts including an ABBA tribute, Pam Pam Ida, I Dolci Signori, Steffi Denk, a Queen tribute, Gerhard Polt with the Well brothers, Martina Schwarzmann and Christian Steiffen. Evenings start at 7.30 pm (doors 6 pm) with reserved seating, and tickets are sold through OK-Ticket. Buses 1 and 10 stop nearby, and there is parking by the garden.
