Grade I listed Georgian Freemasons' Hall in Sunderland, whose Phoenix Hall is available for public hire.
The Freemasons' Hall on Queen Street East was built by members of Phoenix Lodge in 1785 and is believed to be the oldest purpose-built Masonic hall in the world still in continuous use for its original purpose. It is Grade I listed and is looked after by the Queen Street Masonic Heritage Trust, a registered charity.
Phoenix Hall, the building's function room, is offered for hire at a competitive rate and has been used for wedding receptions, engagement parties, christenings, birthdays, corporate and community events. It has a fully licensed bar and can serve meals and buffets, and 60 marked parking bays are available on site from 5pm to 8.30am on weekdays and around the clock at weekends.

Capacity published by the Queen Street Masonic Heritage Trust on its own facilities page. Its own wording is that the hall "seats up to 80 guests for dining and entertainment"; the figure had been stored under the invalid layout key "seated-dining" and is now recorded as dining.
