About this venue
Queen's Park Recreation Ground is the flat open field on the east side of Queen's Park, off Queen's Drive near Cathcart Road on Glasgow's south side. Owned by Glasgow City Council, it is used as an outdoor event site: Zippos Circus pitches its big top there, and it has hosted family and dance events such as Melting Pot's Mayday Manoeuvres.
It is a different part of the park from Queen's Park Arena, the bandstand amphitheatre on the west side, which has its own record here. As an open space it has no street number and no postcode of its own.
