About this venue
Rarekind Records is an independent new and second-hand record shop on Trafalgar Street in Brighton's North Laine, behind a landmark graffiti frontage. It runs over three floors: hip hop, R&B, funk, soul and world on the ground floor, dance albums in the middle, and dubstep, drum and bass and jungle upstairs at RK Bass.
The shop hosts in-store events — gigs squeezed between the record aisles, album launch parties and livestream DJ sets — and has traded for over ten years.
