The Royal Oak is a real-ale pub on Lower Bristol Road in Twerton, Bath, brewing its own beer as Ralph's Ruin in the old pub kitchen since 2017 alongside guest ales and a wide cider range. It has a busy grassroots live music programme: open-mic nights, swing jazz on the first Sunday of each month, a Breton folk, blues jam and songwriting circle on Mondays, mainly Irish folk sessions on Wednesdays, and live music every Friday and often Thursdays and Saturdays. It also hangs art exhibitions and has a secluded terrace and a small car park.
