About this venue

Science Village Hall is a large, adaptable event hall inside The Loop at Science Village, north-east Lund, 25 metres from the Lund ESS tram stop. It seats 919 across three levels, holds about 1,000 standing plus 300 on the balconies, and can serve 550 at long dinner tables or 350 at round tables. A retractable seating tribune and a partition wall that splits the hall into 200- and 300-seat sections make it usable for fairs, parallel lectures, banquets and concerts, and an artificial reverberation system switches the acoustics between rock-club and concert-hall settings. The stage is 18 m wide and 7 to 10 m deep with 14 m ceiling height; backstage has five dressing rooms and a lounge, and there is a 740 m2 foyer with cloakroom. Concert promoters use it for touring and local shows (autumn 2026 listings include Elton John meets Freddie Mercury, Magnus Carlson and ODEUM classical concerts), and it is also let for conferences and company events. Taxis and accessible transport should use the Mesongatan 4 entrance; tram, car and bike users use Rydbergs torg 4.
