Seaton Reach

Seaton Reach is the seafront development on Coronation Drive in Seaton Carew, Hartlepool, and the name used for the adjoining open-air event site on land owned by Hartlepool Borough Council. Since 2023 the council has let the land each summer to event managers for large outdoor music events: dance-music festivals such as Cafe Mambo by the Sea (August 2024, with a second stage hosted by Beat Boutique), and further events in July and September 2025 and on 31 July to 1 August 2026, under a premises licence for the site. Events are run by outside promoters under a licence from the council to occupy the land for the event days plus set-up and reinstatement, after review by the council's Safety Advisory Group. Promoters bring in staging, bars, food stalls and toilets. There are no permanent event facilities and no published capacity. The small units in the Seaton Reach building (1-3 Seaton Reach) are separate cafes and play businesses.
