Slaktkyrkan / Hus 7

Slaktkyrkan and Hus 7 are two of the event rooms in the former meat-market district Slakthusområdet in Johanneshov, run together by Slakthusen (the same group also operates Slakthuset, Kapellet and a terrace). Slaktkyrkan is the larger concert and club room, with a foyer, a high-ceilinged main room, a long bar and space for 750 people (150 seated for lectures). Hus 7 is an old industrial building with several rooms and space for up to 300 guests, used mainly for underground events and sometimes as a location for music videos. The programme leans towards metal, electronic and indie acts, and both rooms are available to hire; the venue asks enquirers to get in touch for prices and a viewing.
