About this venue
Smålands Nation is one of Lund University's student nations, with a left-wing, feminist profile, and it runs a public programme of club nights, pubs and concerts. Saturday clubs run 22:00 to 02:00 (indie, pop and rock; Latin; queer; techno nights), Wednesday pubs from 19:00 with live music, quizzes and karaoke, and the stage has hosted metal, prog, jazz, pop and hip hop acts over the years. Public entry is 20+, or 18+ for students and members, with discounted entry for members. The nation's hall is sometimes hired for private parties and dinners, up to 100 guests including seated food service, but not on Saturday or Wednesday evenings. The nation sits at Kastanjegatan 7, in buildings from the 1960s. Bands and DJs can apply through the nation's booking address.
